In episode #40, Corrie and Claire talk about what it really means to worship.
“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.”
Now that we have the Biblical definition of worship, let’s see what the dictionary says.
Worship: to regard with great or extravagant respect, honor, or devotion (found at https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/worship)
So today we are talking about practical ways to worship God and how much it can vary from person to person! (And yes, that means worship includes MORE than just singing!!)
“Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker, for he is our God.”
Jesus replied, “The Scriptures say,
‘You must worship the Lord your God
and serve only him.’ “
